At the AGM of the Forum on Wednesday 5^th February, the retiring president Eric Jenness, of Thackley, passed on his chain of office to the incoming president, Dick Rennison, of Drighlington. Dick is one of our oldest members – he will be 90 in June – and travels the farthest to our weekly meetings. He was born and bred in Thackley, attending Thackley Board School (as it was then known) and Thackley Methodist Church. Incidentally he is a member of the Glen Singers, who rehearse in the Methodist Church.
